Both Full and Part-Time Roles Available.

Location: 5 St. Bride Street, London, EC4A 4AS, flexibility for the right candidate

Salary: £25k and up, depending on experience

Contract: Permanent, full time or part-time depending on experience

If you're looking for a new and exciting challenge are a recently qualified accountant who can lead a varied portfolio of clients building trusted and long-lasting relationships and have at least two years practice experience, this might just be your next professional step.

You will be:

  • Newly qualified Accountant (ACCA/ICAEW/AFA/CIOT/AAT) with at least two years of practice experience

  • Solution-focused: seek solutions and act fast to the business & client needs to go above and beyond clients’ expectations.

  • A self-starter: must be organised and be able to prioritise your own workload.

  • An excellent communicator: Able to communicate confidently and coherently with clients and teammates alike.

  • Proficient in using QuickBooks, Xero and Excel – knowledge of other software such as TaxCalc would also be beneficial.

Key duties

  • Managing a portfolio of clients for whom you will take ownership of producing monthly, quarterly, and yearly deliverables and maintaining the client relationship.

  • Preparation and review of Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies

  • Preparation and review of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for Sole Traders, Rental Property Income, Individuals and Partnerships

  • Preparation, review, and submission of VAT Returns

  • Communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between clients/visitors/enquirers and staff and interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person

  • Ensure that all regulatory and compliance checks are in place
